Food-Safe Finish: The board is hand-finished with a protective blend of food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. This combination not only enhances the walnut's natural beauty but also ensures it’s safe for use with food, while helping to protect the wood from moisture and stains.
Rubber Feet for Stability: Equipped with rubber feet on the bottom, the board stays in place while you cut, preventing slipping and providing added safety. These feet also protect your countertops and keep the board elevated from any moisture.
Care Instructions:
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your board, periodically reapply food-safe mineral oil and beeswax conditioner to keep the wood hydrated. Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap; avoid soaking the board. Allow to dry thoroughly before storing.

Materials:
Maple: Revered for its creamy-white hue and smooth grain, Maple wood lends a pristine canvas to the cutting board. Its dense, durable nature ensures a resilient surface that withstands daily use.
Cherry: Infused with warm tones ranging from reddish-brown to deep russet, Cherry wood brings a touch of richness and depth. Its natural luster and fine grain add both visual allure and strength to the cutting board.
Walnut: Dark and sophisticated, Walnut wood introduces a bold contrast with its chocolate-brown colour and swirling grain patterns. Renowned for its strength and resilience, Walnut provides a sturdy foundation that enhances the cutting board's longevity.

We love crisp clean lines. Whenever possible, we do our best to minimize our design and let our materials do the talking for us. Our philosophy is to put the wood first. Show off the beauty that nature has already created for us. For this reason, never ask us to stain a piece of wood. If you want something darker, choose a different type of wood!

Our products are finished with either a food-safe oil/wax finish (for our cutting boards, charcuterie boards), or a tougher, more durable hard-wax/oil finish (Rubio Monocoat)
Both finishes are sustainable and 0% VOC.
