Materials:

  • Maple: Revered for its creamy-white hue and smooth grain, Maple wood lends a pristine canvas to the cutting board. Its dense, durable nature ensures a resilient surface that withstands daily use.

  • Cherry: Infused with warm tones ranging from reddish-brown to deep russet, Cherry wood brings a touch of richness and depth. Its natural luster and fine grain add both visual allure and strength to the cutting board.

  • Walnut: Dark and sophisticated, Walnut wood introduces a bold contrast with its chocolate-brown colour and swirling grain patterns. Renowned for its strength and resilience, Walnut provides a sturdy foundation that enhances the cutting board's longevity.

  • Ash: Ash is a strong, durable hardwood known for its light natural colour and striking grain patterns. Its excellent shock resistance and smooth finish make it ideal for cutting boards, offering a sturdy, knife-friendly surface that is both practical and beautifully modern in appearance.

    As all of our boards are sanded to 320 grit, (very fine sand paper), they have a super-smooth finish. Thanks to our unique grain-raising sanding technique, our boards are beautiful to look at and function extremely well. All of our boards are finished with our own ecological wax oil which protects the wood without clogging its pores.

  • All woods (exotic and domestic) are sourced responsibly from our local mills and importers. Absolutely nothing is wasted in the manufacturing process as off-cuts are used for smaller products or burned to create a heat source for our shop.

  • At HDH, we work alongside trusted carriers like UPS, FedEx and Canada Post to provide Canada, USA, Europe & International Worldwide shipping services.

    For the EU, UK, Canada & US, all taxes and import duties are included in the final price.

    RETURNS

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
