This solid mahogany challah board is inspired by Moshe Erlich’s historic 1948 meeting with David Ben-Gurion in Israel. Engraved with the Hamotzi blessing, it features an integrated salt well carved directly into the premium wood. The beautiful mahogany was gifted to Hardwood Design House following a meaningful encounter with Tali Erlich at the 2026 UJA Walk for Israel. This heirloom piece was thoughtfully designed in collaboration with Tali and Diane Erlich.
To honor his legacy, $36 from each purchase will be donated to Beit Halochem Canada in loving memory of Moshe Erlich.
Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel raises funds to support rehabilitating, rebuilding, and enhancing the lives of thousands of Israelis disabled in the line of duty or through acts of terror. At Beit Halochem Centres across Israel, injured veterans, and their families, are provided with personalized rehabilitative services, specialized sports, and cultural and recreational programming from the time of injury and for the rest of their lives.*
