Made from rich, premium Canadian walnut wood, this board is designed to be both a functional kitchen tool and a meaningful keepsake.

  • Food-Safe Finish: The board is hand-finished with a protective blend of food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. This combination not only enhances the walnut's natural beauty but also ensures it’s safe for use with food, while helping to protect the wood from moisture and stains.

  • Rubber Feet for Stability: Equipped with rubber feet on the bottom, the board stays in place while you cut, preventing slipping and providing added safety. These feet also protect your countertops and keep the board elevated from any moisture.

Care Instructions:
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your board, periodically reapply food-safe mineral oil and beeswax conditioner to keep the wood hydrated. Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap; avoid soaking the board. Allow to dry thoroughly before storing.

  • The Walnut LaCosta board shows off the beauty of our Canadian walnut and the bright vibrant colours of our Lacosta signature stripes (Purpleheart, Paduak, Yellowheart & Wenge)

    As all of our boards are sanded to 320 grit, (very fine sand paper), they have a super-smooth finish. Thanks to our unique grain-raising sanding technique, our boards are beautiful to look at and function extremely well. All of our boards are finished with our own ecological wax oil which protects the wood without clogging its pores.

  • All woods (exotic and domestic) are sourced responsibly from our local mills and importers. Absolutely nothing is wasted in the manufacturing process as off-cuts are used for smaller products or burned to create a heat source for our shop.

  • At HDH, we work alongside trusted carriers like UPS, FedEx and Canada Post to provide Canada, USA, Europe & International Worldwide shipping services.

    For the EU, UK, Canada & US, all taxes and import duties are included in the final price.

    RETURNS

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
