Handcrafted in Toronto from premium solid walnut, this cutting board features a striking 2" maple accent stripe that adds a clean modern contrast to the rich dark walnut grain. Built for both beauty and durability, the board is designed with edge grain construction to provide a strong, knife-friendly surface for everyday use.

Finished with food-safe Osmo oil, the wood is protected with a smooth natural finish that enhances the character and warmth of both the walnut and maple. Durable 13mm rubber feet are attached to the bottom for added stability, improved airflow, and a comfortable working height on your countertop.

The maple stripe also creates the perfect space for custom engraving, making this board an ideal personalized gift for weddings, anniversaries, housewarmings, or family celebrations. Care Instructions:

  • The Walnut LaCosta board shows off the beauty of our Canadian walnut and the bright vibrant colours of our Lacosta signature stripes (Purpleheart, Paduak, Yellowheart & Wenge)

    As all of our boards are sanded to 320 grit, (very fine sand paper), they have a super-smooth finish. Thanks to our unique grain-raising sanding technique, our boards are beautiful to look at and function extremely well. All of our boards are finished with our own ecological wax oil which protects the wood without clogging its pores.

  • All woods (exotic and domestic) are sourced responsibly from our local mills and importers. Absolutely nothing is wasted in the manufacturing process as off-cuts are used for smaller products or burned to create a heat source for our shop.

    For the EU, UK, Canada & US, all taxes and import duties are included in the final price.

    RETURNS

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
